I booked this role on "Killer Couples" which is a show about, you guessed it, killer couples. I got to play the killer which was interesting and different for me, and I had an amazing time. I was filming in Knoxville, TN for about a week and from the moment I got home things started getting busy. Auditions, orders, new opportunities! It's thrilling but I let this little blog go in the shadows for a bit.
So I decided to chronicle today's #ootd. As I'm sitting in a coffee shop writing this, I remember a time when I stayed away from denim. See ever since middle school I'd read style magazines like they were my textbooks. I'd pore over the glossy pictures of perfect-looking women with bouncy hair and impeccable style. And I'd find myself wanting to be them.
I learned a lot from those magazines, but I also let them limit me. I would follow all the fashion "rules" of no denim on denim, no white after labor day, no over-the-top accessories. As I've developed my personal style, and if this year's Fashion Week street style has taught us anything, it's to go with what makes you feel confident and beautiful. If prints on prints are your thing, wear 'em! Anything can look good as long as you're full of confidence and love for yourself. It has to be authentically you.
Now I rock denim on denim. And loud prints. And over-the-top jewelry. And anything else I feel like wearing. And it's wonderful.
