I recently went to Miami and we got to stop by Wynwood Walls. Wynwood is an area in downtown Miami that was revitalized in 2009 by Tony Goldman, who pictured the buildings as canvases and created one of the most unique and creative places in the U.S. It features inspiring murals and street art, along with delicious coffee (I highly recommend Panther coffee. HIGHLY recommend) and lovely boutiques (check out Plant the Future, a modern plant shop). It's easily one of my favorite places I've visited in the U.S.
I wore a romper that was actually on sale here… I couldn't resist, so I got it for myself! The thigh high slit with lacy details made my legs look long and I felt so cute the entire day- even when walking for miles in the Miami heat. I added strappy sandals with a slight heel and though I love them, I learned my lesson and will not be adventuring in them again (hello foot pain!)
We also checked out South Beach and boy, was that crazy! Two tips: Prepare for parking with patience, and wear something breathable (A long sleeved romper was not a good idea.) It was packed to the brim, full of people watching and art-deco architecture. Miami is no doubt worth exploring, and there's so much I haven't seen- just no long sleeve next time!
