This past weekend I was invited to The Glow Conference, an annual gathering for millennial women on entrepreneurship, networking, and creating.
I am so grateful to have gone! The speakers were CEO's, authors, branding experts, and many more powerful, inspiring women. They were all informative and encouraging and I ended the day with a full, happy heart.
I also met beautiful, talented women who are dreamers and go getters. I couldn't believe how sweet and welcoming everyone in the conference was!
The Glow Conference reminded me of the importance of community. Although I learned a lot, like how vital it is to stay away from faith blockers, to make a real plan, and to foster your brand, the resounding theme I received was: Seek community.
We sometimes make the wrong assumption that we're alone in this journey. We have all these plans and dreams, and we're working so hard but not allowing others to join in.
We weren't meant to be alone. We weren't meant to hide our vision. Asking a trusted friend to look over your website, or opening up about your ideas and hopes to a mentor might be exactly what you need to propel forward. We are stronger together.
You have family, friends, and a network of entrepreneurs ready to help you. And if you don't, go find them! Reach out to people you admire on instagram, attend networking events, and don't be shy.
Thank you Elaine for the invite! I'm already looking forward to next year's Glow Conference and hopefully I'll see you there!
